GINTRONIC GraviTest 9250-50
Made in Switzerland
The same instrument like GINTRONIC GraviTest 9250, but also for samples with a thickness up to 50 mm.
Typical Applications:
For fully automatic determination of the water vapor permeability of blisters, rim-seal pouches and other "small packages".
Norms / Standards
1ASTM E96
ASTM E96 measures the amount of moisture vapor that transmits through a material (MVTR). ASTM F1868 measures the ability of a material to release heat as it is built up, or Total Heat Loss (THL). Regardless of the method, the result yields a product that increases worker comfort without compromising safety.
2ASTM D7709
ASTM D1709 is the ASTM International Standard Test Method for measuring the impact resistance of plastic films with a free-falling dart.
3USP 671
USP 671 Container Performance Testing provides standards for evaluating the functional properties of packaging systems used for solid oral dosage forms (SODFs) and liquid oral dosage forms (LODFs), though tests can be applied to packages intended for other dosage forms where appropriate.
4EN ISO 12572
This standard specifies a method based on cup tests for determining the water vapour permeance of building products and the water vapour permeability of building materials under isothermal conditions. Different sets of test conditions are specified.
5EN 1931
The document specifies methods for determining the water vapor permeability and for calculating the moisture flux density and the water vapor diffusion resistance number...
6DIN 53122-1
Standard number: DIN 53122-1. Name: Determination of the water vapour transmission rate of plastic film, rubber sheeting, paper, board and other sheet materials by gravimetry.
7ASTM E398
ASTM E389 is a standard test method that uses dynamic relative humidity measurement to determine the water vapour transfer rate of sheet materials. This test method is unique in how it closely resembles real product storage, in which moisture from a package is allowed to escape into the environment without being regularly swept with dry gas.
8ISO 2528
ISO 2528:2017 specifies a method for the determination of the water vapour transmission rate (often erroneously called "permeability") of sheet materials. This method is not generally recommended for use if the transmission rate is expected to be less than 1 g/m2 per day or for materials thicker than 3 mm.
9ISO 15106-1
ISO 15106 is a standard test method for measuring the vapour permeability of a film or plastic sheeting. The method uses a dry chamber which is divided from a wet chamber by a sheet of the film or sheet under test.
10DIN EN ISO 7783
This document specifies a method for determining the water-vapour transmission properties of coatings of paints, varnishes and related products.
11 DIN EN 12086
This European Standard specifies equipment and procedures for determining the behaviour of products under a force applied to a small area of a test specimen at a given speed. It is applicable to thermal insulating products.
12EN 13726
This document specifies test methods for the evaluation of aspects of absorption of wound dressings, test methods for the evaluation of moisture vapour transmission rate of permeable film wound and fixation dressings, and test methods to assess waterproofness and extensibility.
